I loved the opening ceremonies too! the water and then the mountains coming up.. very cool! <br /><br />My aunt was grounded in Gander for three days during 9/11. She was taken and fed by a wonderful couple whom she remains close with still and has gone to visit several time since. We shed tears on that day and in the weeks following, and we are still moved each time we see the images or remember the anniversary. Of course we would have you here....that's what friends do!!<br />We are also extremely grateful for all the American efforts oversees, and proudly join you in Afghanistan.
