St. Martin of Tours Coloring Page

As promised, here is St. Martin of Tours. I feel like I am a little rusty. Also, someone bumped the table when I was blacklining the halo. But like I've said before, I'm not letting myself get obsessed about these being perfect. I have so many other things to obsess about! :)

St. Martin of Tours Coloring Page

Following Dawn's lead we usually choose St. Martin's Day as the day we pick out new winter slippers and jammies if anyone needs them. This year, the weather isn't exactly cooperating. A high of 77 degrees isn't what I call slipper weather, but we will get there, eventually. Do you have any plans?

  1. Thank you, so much, Charlotte! We are doing nature club today, making lanterns and acting out St. Martin highlights of his life. Then tonight my family will have a bonfire and lantern walk.

  3. Thanks for all of your coloring pages. We're making triptychs in our homeschool and my daughter is using your coloring page (reduced to 1/4 of a page) for her triptych on St. Martin of Tours.

  4. We save our slippers for St. Nicholas' Feast. Instead of finding their shoes filled in the morning, our girls find new slippers filled with goodies. We also save the jammies for Christmas Eve. I figured they should look good for all those pictures Christmas morning! I guess that leaves me nothing for St. Martin. I will have to come up with something new.

I gave you an award on my blog thanking you for all the great color pages and a blog title that gets my girls singing each time they see it!

  5. Nikki,
There are still so many things to do...horseshoe cookies, Martinmas Lanterns, donating clothes or blankets for the winter. How about just coloring a picture while telling a story! : )

  6. Well, I actually live in Germany right now about an hour from the village of St. Martin. We just got back a bit ago from our overnight stay there. As I write this, my husband has taken my two girls out for our village laterne walk while I stay in the warm house with the baby. They made their lanterns earlier on.
