Randomness

My apologies to Mr. Andy Williams, but forget the caroling and mistletoeing, THIS is the most wonderful time of the year. When the chill during morning recess isn't biting, but just enough that Mr. Giraffe has to come out of his summer hibernation to cheer up our entrance way. This wild and crazy, colorful guy was a gift from my mother-in-law to the children many years ago. I think she rescued him from a second hand store and well, I can't imagine why someone would have parted with him, but their loss was definitely our gain!
Superman on a bad day. Kryptonite's got nothin' on a three year old with a temper!

I found this squatter in my front flower bed which hasn't been tended in a couple few do you really need to know how long while and don't know where it came from. I had some hanging pots over the summer that had flowers similar to this one. Could it have come from those? And how did it go from my hanging pot to my flower bed? Gardening gurus, help!

  1. We call these volunteers. &:o) Looks like you had some seeds that went AWOL over the side of a hanging pot, and one landed in just the right place. What a happy chance! (Knotted up Superman is a hoot! I have days like that...)
