Maybe it was the political nature of my post yesterday, a topic of conversation that I don't ever enter into, or maybe the fine weather in other parts of the world kept people outdoors and away from their computers, or maybe the length of the post made everyone's eyes blur, but just in case the faint sound of cricket chirping I heard coming from yesterday's post had anything to do with the opinions of the candidate who was holding the rally, let me just reiterate that we attended solely for the presentation on the election process and to witness that process in action. I can't say that had it been a pro-abortion candidate I still would have gone, but any other pro-life candidate would have met with approval enough to justify the experience to me no matter what their opinions on other subjects were.
I posted what I thought was a tremendous experience for my home educated children and thought that other people might like to know that some members of the younger generations of Americans are cheering us on! That's all. : )
P.S. Not complaining about the number of comments but rather just afraid that I put my foot in my mouth without realizing it. See! This is why I stay away from politics.
