Feast of St. Blaise

Cheese sticks, bread sticks and pineapple for lunch. Why pineapple? Just because.

St. Blaise Candle Cookies for dessert!

These cookies do not look like the candles Father used to bless our throats this morning. Father's were intertwined at the bottom and looked kind of like this.  He first saw them in Poland and had been hunting for some ever since. I can't tell you how tickled he was to have finally found some! : )

  2. Thank you for the kind words! I actually don't do anything to my pictures except resize them. I have never used Photoshop but would love to learn someday!

  3. That's awesome. I should try resizing mine, too! Can't believe that alone would do it.:) You have great natural light, however. I'm jealous!;)

  4. Over here in Germany, we were also blessed by the intertwined candle like the one on the link. :) Must be a European thing.
