Fruit & Veggie Tales

Sunshine was trying to find all of the grapes that needed to be washed when the kids were getting their lunch the other day. She pulled out a bag she thought was filled with red grapes only to be informed by The Professor that she was holding a bag of cherries. He then helpfully handed her the bag of grapes she was searching for. "How did you know?" she asked.

He responded dryly in his ever deepening voice, "*If it doesn't have a stem it's not a cherry, even if it has a cherry kind of shape. If it doesn't have a stem it's not a cherry. If it doesn't have a stem it's not a cherry, it's a grape."

He cracks me up! Happy First Friday!

  1. My kid's loved both the video and The Professor's new version of the song. Now they too will be able to find the grapes, lol.

  3. So my hubby had to call me from work to tell me about this post -- which I immediately shared with the gang, because we love that song... and Cousin "D" held up his apple -- by the stem -- and asked, "Could you please cut my cherry?"
