Pinning It Down {5} Tiny Baby Owls

Thank you for all of your kind words. I am on the mend and doing much better dealing with the mastitis. I wasn't planning on participating this week, but since Sarah is and she has a much better reason for skipping (come on baby girl!) I picked something easy (and tiny) to pin down for this week. Although that avocado chicken salad Sarah made looks amazing and will just have to be made as soon as possible.

Look at this cute little baby owl! Seeing it elicited a collective "AWWWWWWW!" from three of my kids (big manly fourteen year old boys only say "awwwwww" when playing with their baby sister). I want to make one in every color yarn I have. I want to make a whole parliament of owls. (Did you know a group of owls is called a parliament? I didn't.) It's so cute!!! Shortcake already claimed this one for her backpack. Oh well... I guess I'll just have to make some more!

  3. That owl is adorable. He would go quite nicely with some owl fabric I just picked up the other day. Unfortunately I never got past learning how to make anything more than a chain when it comes to crocheting (My grandmother fell very ill with cancer just as she began teaching me to crochet.) Maybe some day in the future I'll learn how to crochet so I can make some of the adorable crafts I wish I could make.

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better.

    1. Sarah,
I'm pretty sure I repinned it from Primrose. They are super cute. She's going to have fun with them!

  5. Super cute! One more thing I want to learn to do - on another note - I just ordered fabric to give that bandana quilt a try :) I'll have to let you know how it goes!

  6. I am so glad you pinned, because those are so cute and unlike sewing, I can crochet!! I hope you are on the mend and feeling better soon!

  7. It's definetly cute, but looks like it could be a choking hazard if small enough to put the whole thing in baby's mouth. I'd go bigger.

  9. That is so cute! So, a owl banner with all the owls? That would be so cute!
