From my mom: After a preliminary scan yesterday, the doctor said the blood clot is gone. GONE!!! Kari has full mobility again but she is very tired and weak... understandably! She will need to do some therapy but they are hopeful that there was no long term damage done by the stroke. They will do another scan before they release her.
This is wonderful news. She and my brother still have some big decisions to make about how to manage her condition in the future, but right now, we are rejoicing in God's goodness. Please continue to offer prayers of thanksgiving with us!
Thank you all!

And dare I say that you look like your brother? Or should I say he looks like you?
I'm older so I guess he looks like me.Delete
Praise God! Thanks for the update!ReplyDelete
Thanks be to God! This is wonderful news for your family. I can't imagine the scare this has brought on to your brother and his wife. We'll continue to pray for them.ReplyDelete

That's great news Charlotte! Your sister-in-law is too young to have to worry about having a stroke. May God keep her close to His heart during her recovery!ReplyDelete
