Our Lady of Lourdes

I am reposting this since it is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes today and with an update with information about the artist thanks to Stephanie:

I love this picture of Our Lady by artist Hector Garrido. It is from his Visions of Our Lady series. I did not include the background in my coloring version. It would have been too tedious and taken too much of my time. As you all know this is a very busy time of year for everyone but especially us moms! Maybe your kids can come up with a creative way to place her in a grotto or add one in the background. I'd love to see what they come up with! Have a lovely feast day!

  1. Just to let you know that it is marked private so it won't allow us to download it. We aren't going to be able to celebrate the day without that coloring page. I'll have a mutiny on my hands. Help, please!!!

  2. Paula,
All of the coloring pages are marked private. That should only mean that you have to use the link to find them on Scribd, they can't be searched for. But you should still have the option to either print directly (by clicking the "iPaper" button and then clicking print) or download by clicking the download tab. I have the permissions set to allow downloads as either word docs or .pdfs. Please let me know via an email (my address is in my sidebar under "Hello") if you still can't get it and I can email you the .pdf file. I will be out for a bit this morning but will be back later.

  4. Charlotte:

Once again, thank you so much! I'm so very sick today, I really haven't been able to plan much for this lovely feast. We'll be watching The Song of Bernadette and using your lovely coloring pages of Our Lady of Lourdes...blessings to you and yours!

  6. Charlotte,
My feast days would be dull without your fantastic ideas. You inspire the artist/crafty mom in me.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
    Happy Feast Day (belated!).
