Small Successes (6)

Why is this so hard? I have been wanting to join in with this exercise for weeks now but every time I see it, I feel like I am back in school with the writing prompt on the board in front of me and absolutely nothin' in my noggin'! Here goes:

1.
I have persisted in my new schedule of exercise and was finally able to complete the 4 mile walking workout I wanted to all while maintaining a very realistic attitude about exercise and the results I hope to see from my effort.

2.
I made my very first King Cake and although it was nowhere near authentic, it was pretty and the kids devoured all of it leaving nothing leftover to tempt us on Ash Wednesday.

3.
I finally wrote a Small Successes post? Baby steps, OK!

  2. Hehehe, I could tell you what PART of my motivation is but I don't know that it would work for you! Let's just say it has to do with a reunion of sorts for both Husband and I. I know... to be so vain during this penitent season but there it is.

  3. This is my first visit to your blog and I love it! Your coloring pages are beautiful. I get horrible writer's block when I have a theme too.

  5. 4 miles is great - the most I do is 2.4 or 2.5 - maybe I'll aim for 4 with you as inspiration!

    Well done!
