Have a Coke and smile!

Courtesy of the Learning Calendar:
Atlanta druggist John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola on this day in 1886. Originally marketed as a "brain and nerve tonic," the name comes from two ingredients: the coca leaf and the kola nut. Drink your favorite soft drink today.

Why thank you. I think we will!

P.S. Don't you love the picture? Cures headaches and relieves mental and physical exhaustion! Have a great Friday!

  2. Back then, it had, well, the main ingredient in cocaine in it. Now it's lots of caffeine. The stuff from Mexico still has natural sugar in it, and it tastes sooooo good.

  3. Oooh, I love coke. I almost never drink it but it always makes me feel better if I have a headache or a sick tummy.
