Finding Vivian

...in my inbox last night from Great-Aunt Gladys' daughter:

Mom was 4 when she saw this and said that is exactly it

That. is. exactly. it.

It's amazing how 4 little words can wash over you in a huge wave of peace and warmth like a hug.  Dear Pawpaw, we found her.

Thank you for all of your prayers!

  3. When you first blogged about looking for the gravesite, you asked that if we had any pull in heaven, to please pray for your quest.

Well...it just so happens that our family's personal saint, our daughter Rebecca, is particularly good at helping us find things. I thought she'd like this mission, so I asked her to help out. I've been waiting hopefully to find out how it all turned out.

I'm so glad you've found little Vivian's earthly resting place. Will you have a new plaque added to the marker?

  4. What a miracle! you're making me cry on a Monday morning - I"m too sleepy for this! :-) That is wonderful and such an answer to many prayers. I can't fathom the peace and joy this must bring to your heart.

if it were me i would be interested in leaving the current marker in place but adding a durable stone marker on the ground, flush up against the base of this one.

  6. Lorri,
I thought about your little Rebecca when I posted that story because I know the bacterial infection Shortcake had is the same kind that Rebecca's little body struggled with. Thank you for seeking her intercession!

Yes, it is my dearest wish to have a new plaque made if the stand is determined to be in good enough condition to allow it. Otherwise, we will look into having a new marker placed.
