{pretty, happy, funny, real}

{pretty}
The girls shared some of their wall stickers with Cupcake and prettified her changing space. She loves talking to the butterfly while getting a fresh, clean diaper. Except at 4am, when according to Sean, Ms. Butterfly committed some grievous offense and needed a talkin' to!

{happy}
Happy girls in headbands! Yes, they are still trying to accessorize her!

{funny}
7 year old BigBoy: "Hey Mom, my mug looks like a mosaic!"
Later on at golf lessons, after hitting a 75 yarder with his driver: "I hope NASA finds that one!"

BTW... we don't normally give in to such marshmallow madness but for the first cocoa of the year, we couldn't resist!

{real}
Babies spit... a lot!

  1. I can't even tell you how much I love the pictures of your older girls with the baby!
    I was 14 when the oldest of my little sisters was born (she's really the only one I ever lived with) and the pictures remind me of those times. We were buddies and just adored each other - even still she has such a special place in my heart and I miss her desperately.
    What a precious time for your whole family, with this little blessing!

    (Also, my kids went crazy when they saw your marshmallow madness cocoa! I might have to seek some of that out for a surprise this winter!)

  3. She's growing so fast trying to catch up to the big kids! She's two months old and almost 10.5 pounds!

    I think Marshmallow Madness would be a perfect way to toast the arrival of a new baby brother! ; )

  10. Your big girls look absolutely delighted with their baby sister - it's lovely to see!
    And not only did you give them a lovable little sister, but hot chocolate with colorful marshmallows? You must be a very cool mom.
