{p,h,f,r} April 19th

Today is the 17th anniversary of the day he asked the question and I said "Yes!" Look sweetie, it's a beautiful day with not a tornado in sight! And look at where that "yes" finds us now...
{pretty}
Pretty little Cupcake wearing pink poodles ~ makes her big sisters squee!

{happy}
She is happiest when playing with the phone or a remote. Dwija's right... don't buy your baby toys. Although, someone gave us one of those wipey warmers and my baby's tushie loved it. And yes, her daddy does think she's the icing on the cupcake!

{funny}
Mommy, why does everyone keep laughing at me and saying , "She's sooooo tiny?"
 Our Target has the deepest carts in the world! I know she's short, but come on...

{real}
Really bad picture, but this is real life! I discovered that you can use painter's tape to help you caulk a nice straight line when I recaulked the kids tub. Apply the tape over and under where you want the caulk line to go, squeeze on the caulk, smooth with your finger or a tool and then pull the tape off. Let it cure completely. Easy peasy!

  1. Cute pictures. The shopping cart one is so funny! And great tip with the caulk. We're in desperate need so I'm trying it, thank you!

  3. Oh she is so precious in that cart! And a cart cover is actually on my "you should have" list (which might make some of my minimalist moms cringe!). Love the pattern on that one.

    1. I agree Dwija. I had my first one with BigBoy and loved it! I was so happy when a friend passed this one down to us for Cupcake.

  4. I just caulked my kids' tub the other day, too! I didn't use the tape, though, and while my lines are pretty straight, I had caulk all. over. me. It was a mess, but I'm excited to do my shower now. Maybe I'll use tape.

    1. Sara, I think I probably go through a whole roll of paper towels when I caulk anything. It is messy stuff.

  5. These photos are so cute of Cupcake. Where does one purchase a shopping cart cover?

    1. I would think most baby stores have them. Ours was passed down to us. Here are some cart covers over at Amazon:
