An Alphabet of Saints: G & I

I finally got some silver paint for St. George and decided to work on St. Ignatius at the same time...

For those who have asked, I ordered these peg forms from www.craftparts.com based on Jessica's recommendation and they are the 2-3/8" Dad - Little People. I've also seen them at Hobby Lobby. They are called Man 7/8" x 2 5/16" over there.

  1. Adorable again! I just posted pics of the 2 I painted the other day!

  2. Those two guys are near & dear to our own hearts. St. George: patron saint to both my father and my second son; and St. Ignatius: credited with my big reversion and confirmation patron of my oldest.

(Yes, I had some say in that.)

    They are beautifully crafted, Charlotte!

  3. I just ordered some plain pegs on Etsy, so that is also an option. I don't have a lot of confidence in my painting abilities but I thought the kids would enjoy working on them next week for All Saints.

  4. Charlotte, these are simply adorable! How can anyone not love these little wooden saints? I've been meaning to get going with this for our grandbabies, just never picked up my brush amidst the busyness of life. Winter is coming, it's soon time to do so. Thanks for sharing!
