Respect Life!

A very smart lady from our homeschool group came up with a super easy way to help the local pro-life group. Our homeschool group is going to donate two baskets for the silent auction part of the Pro-Life Banquet.  One is a wine basket and one is a new baby basket. Isn't that a fabulous idea? Here is my contribution.

Do I need to specify which is for which? :)
I had Sean pick up the wine. We are not big wine drinkers so I had no specifics except "pick up a pretty bottle". I thought he did a great job. Here's hoping it tastes good too. This is the first time I have ever thought to use an infant headband to tie up one of my bandana blankets! Why have I never thought of this before? It's so cute and an extra little gift!

  2. The fabric you used for the quiltie is so pretty! I think the headband is the perfect way to package it too!

  3. I want to bid on that basket! Unless we're having a boy...
And, that wine is a great choice!

    1. Oh good! I thought it was pretty so it must taste good, right? :) If you win the baby basket and you have a boy, I will make you a boy blanket and you can give the girlie blanket away! Deal?

  4. Love fabric you have there - so cheery with the pink! Topping it off with the blue band is so clever and looks so pretty.
